God healed my Hand!

What a wonderful living and mighty God we serve! The same Jesus who walked this earth healing the sick is able to heal our sick and diseased bodies today.

I was about 19 or 20 years old working on a farm up in Indiana one Spring/Summer planting crops and doing farm work. I would drive a big Ford 9000 tractor most of the day plowing, disking, planting. Up and down BIG fields I drove and as I would drive I would put my bible on the wheel and read the word of God. Had a few crooked rows at times....One day in particular I was doing a study on the healing power of God. How that as it is written in the book of Acts "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power, who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil, for God was with him".

The Lord had saved me just in the past couple of years, filled me with his Holy Spirit and called me to do the work of an evangelist and I had already in my life seen his power revealed in simple humble believers who trusted him and his word. After pulling the tractor in the yard to eat lunch at the farmhouse I would go with the owner in a large converted army troop carrier that he had rigged to feed his cattle. I would ride with him and help him. This day I jumped out and opened the gate to enter the cattle area as usual but when I jumped back on the moving truck, I accidentally reached up and grabbed the scalding hot exhaust vent behind the truck and instantly burned my hand. In 15 minutes it was all red and blistered and hurt like fire. Everybody else went back to the fields and I was able to stay back at the bunkhouse and rest and heal up.

I recalled reading that morning the scripture that says by "whose stripes we were healed". I held my hand up to him and said , Lord by your stripes I am healed. He took me by the hand and healed my hand instantly! The pain instantly went away and I watched the blisters and redness "disapear" right before my eyes. I danced that day all over a big open field rejoicing and thanking God for his loving touch. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever and his love and grace can save to the uttermost whatever our need.
